WWE Career
On June 26, 2003, Jordan made his WWE debut on SmackDown! as a face at Madison Square Garden against then heel, John Cena. Although he did not win the match, he was impressive enough that when Cena attacked Jordan after the match was over, the The Undertaker came to the ring and even helped Jordan to his feet. Taker took time to shake Jordan’s hand and congratulate him on a good effort—the ultimate sign of respect for a WWE rookie.
Later on he turned heel by joining forces with JBL as his "Chief of Staff". Other members of this stable include: the "Co-Secretaries of Defense"; the Basham Brothers (Doug and Danny Basham), and former WWE Champion (and leader) John "Bradshaw" Layfield (JBL).
On a Smackdown! episode which aired on March 3rd 2005, Orlando Jordan defeated John Cena with the help of JBL to win the WWE U.S. Title.
At The Great American Bash, Jordan defeated Chris Benoit when Jordan removed the turnbuckle pad, and then Benoit went for a German suplex, but Jordan shoved him head first into the exposed turnbuckle and covered him for the win.
