Danny Basham
Danny Basham
Danny Holly (also spelt as Hollie, or Holliday) better known as Danny Basham is a professional wrestler currently performing for World Wrestling Entertainment on the RAW brand.

Career

Holly made his wrestling debut in Ohio Valley Wrestling, as the Damaja. On January 6, he and David C. were awarded the OVW Tag Title when Nick Dinsmore no-showed and Rob Conway was counted out. He was also a three-time OVW Champion, defeating the likes of Dinsmore, Flash Flanagan, and Nova.

In 2003 he was given the managerial services of Tough Enough II winner Jackie Gayda, and then on May 29, made his WWE television debut (as Danny Basham), teaming with Doug Basham to form the heel tag-team The Basham Brothers, the Bashams as the they were known were later given the valet, Shaniqua. They use a gimick where they switch with each other so the "fresh" wrestler is in the ring, in almost all cases the referee plays at being oblivious to the switch. They are not in anyway "twin brothers" and their faces are easily diffrentiated.

In November 2004, the Basham Brothers joined John 'Bradshaw' Layfield's stable The Cabinet and they were both entitled as Co-Secretaries of Defense, The Basham Brothers later quit being Cabinet members on the June 16, 2005 episode of Smackdown saying that they were tired of being "JBL's crash test dummies".

On June 30, 2005, Basham became one of the last minute trades in the 2005 WWE Draft, which saw him jump from SmackDown! to RAW. This seemingly marks the end of his tag team partnership with his "twin brother," who is still a SmackDown! superstar.
