Candice Michelle came to the WWE as a contestant for the 2004 RAW Diva Search. Despite losing to Christy Hemme, the WWE hired Candice anyway and placed her on the RAW brand under the gimmick of a makeup artist.
Unlike the other divas performing for the RAW brand, Candice Michelle's role was limited. She was never given an angle on RAW and she rarely made television appearances unless to participate in one of the program's occassional lingerie pillow fights or bikini contests that were held between Christy Hemme, Lilian Garcia, Maria Kanellis, Stacy Keibler, and herself.
On June 30, 2005, at the end of the Draft Lottery, Candice Michelle was traded to the SmackDown! brand where she soon took part in an angle that involved a feud between Torrie Wilson and Melina Perez. Candice quickly became Melina's rival when she befriended Torrie. On July 24, 2005, at the Great American Bash, Candice served as the special guest referee for the Bra and Panties match between Torrie and Melina.
On the July 28, 2005 edition of SmackDown!, Torrie fought Melina in a rematch. Candice accompanied Torrie while newcomer Jillian Hall accompanied Melina. After the match, Jillian attacked Candice.
Go Daddy Commercial
Beckman achieved a moment of fame in 2005 after appearing in a risqué TV commercial for Go Daddy. The commercial appeared during Super Bowl XXXIX, with Candice appearing as a large busted woman named Nikki Cappelli. While trying to appeal to a congressional committee, she experiences a wardrobe malfunction.
Personal Life
Beckman is married to Dr. Ken Gee Ehrlic, is a former weightlifter-turned chiropractor who specializes in sports injuries and nutrition out of West Los Angeles.
